Fraser Fir (Abies fraseri)
The Fraser fir is a popular Christmas tree, especially on the East coast. It is a uniformly pyramid-shaped tree with branches that turn slightly upward making the Fraser look more compact. The needles are shorter than those of most other Christmas trees and are a dark green on the upper side with a silvery appearance on the underside. Its form, pleasant scent and exceptional needle retention make it an excellent choice as a Christmas tree. Fraser fir hold up well during handling and shipping.
